If the thought of a giant truck with its engine screaming, sporting around the arena on two wheels at time and climbing over cars gets your heart racing, Val Verde County Fairgrounds is the place for you this weekend.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday, these giant vehicles will perform feats that were impossible a few years ago.
Shows will be Friday night at 7:30 p.m., Saturday at 1:30 and 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. The event is produced by Arizona’s Monster Truck Entertainment.
Four trucks will be featured: Kamikaze, Rockwell Red, Wrecking Machine and Hang Loose.
Keeping the adrenaline going will be freestyle motocross riders who will perform cliffhangers, double grabs, Superman seat grabs and backflips when the trucks need to take a break.
In addition, fans can get close and personal with the trucks and collect autographs from the drivers at the Pit Party, usually about 90 minutes before the event.
Saturday afternoon, the first 500 children will get a toy monster truck.
