A local man was shot in the leg about 10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20, but he isn’t talking about it.
Gabriel Reyes, a 25-year-old man, was shot through his leg. After getting shot in the leg, he went to his parents’ home in Val Verde Estates, where his father took him to Val Verde Regional Medical Center.
The VVRMC Emergency Department staff contacted law enforcement authorities, as state law requires.
The victim isn’t cooperating with law enforcement authorities about how he happened to have a handgun round go through his leg.
