City of Del Rio Police Department press release:
On February 1, 2024, at approximately 6:09 AM the Del Rio Police Department responded to a call for service regarding Fire Assist at the 200 block of Canon St.
Preliminary investigation revealed a deceased female inside the residence. The area was secured for further investigation.
The Criminal Investigation Division responded to the area and the scene is currently considered active, pending the response of the State Fire Marshal.
