The White Horse lounge is no more, as one of Del Rio’s busiest bars has quadrupled their food choices and is now called the Whitehorse Bar and Grill.
Previously, the Ramada’s bar offered a handful of appetizers , headlined by the always popular Macho Nachos.
However, when the COVID pandemic hit, the establishment found itself closed for several months.
Polo Del Rio, the Ramada’s Del Rio Management Co President, merged some of Malinda Restaurant’s food making operation into the White Horse, enabling a larger portion of their income to come from food. This will enable them to better serve their customers throughout, but especially if another lockdown occurs.
“This made a lot of sense for us and it allows us to better serve our customers, said Del Rio. When customers visit the White Horse, they have more options to them food wise, aid if a another lock down comes, we can still serve our customer base.”
“Of course, social distancing, masks and whatever else it takes to keep customers safe will be our first priority,” he said.
The 3-page menu now includes hamburgers, steaks and fajitas.
