American Airlines has announced it is returning to Del Rio Jan. 5.
Typically, the flights will leave Del Rio at 6:09 a.m. and return at 6:22 p.m.
While many are extremely optimistic about this, one local official warned that with potential COVID spikes on the horizon and airlines still facing challenges, don’t believe it until it happens.
