Writer’s Note: All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
The following persons were arrested for misdemeanor offenses and warrants during the month of June 2024, according to arrest reports released by the Del Rio Police Department:
- Alberto G. Mendez, 68, a resident of the 200 block of Hogan Drive, was arrested at 4:25 a.m. on June 2 at 203 Veterans Blvd. Mendez was taken into custody after officers said he was found sleeping at the side of the building, and a warrants check showed an active warrant with the Val Verde County Sheriff’s Office.
- Lorenzo Davila, 38, a resident of the 400 block of Pitaya Lane, was arrested at 4:57 p.m. on June 2 at his residence and charged with the offense of assault causing bodily injury/family violence, a Class A misdemeanor.
- Leticia Lenett Ramos, 27, a resident of the 600 block of Diaz Street, was arrested about 9 p.m. on June 4 at 304 Magnolia St., and charged with the offense of assault causing bodily injury, a Class A misdemeanor.
- Eduardo Adriel Robles, 29, a resident of the 100 block of Windcrest Circle, was arrested at 1:50 p.m. on June 4, at 2410 Dodson Ave., and charged with the offense of criminal trespass, a Class C misdemeanor.
- Richie Martell Espinoza, 24, a resident of Dallas, Texas, was arrested at 9:29 a.m. on June 4 at the Del Rio Port of Entry, 3140 Spur 239, after police officers were dispatched to the port in reference to a man being detained for an active warrant.
- Wilburn Douglas Wilson, 67, a resident of the 300 block of Westward Way, was arrested about noon on June 7 at 309 E. 12th St., after officers conducted a follow-up call and found Wilson had several warrants with the Val Verde County Sheriff’s Office.
- Nicholas Gamboa Alvarado, 35, a resident of an apartment in the 400 block of Bedell Avenue, was arrested at 10:51 p.m. on June 8, at the Del Rio Port of Entry, 3140 Spur 239 and charged with the offense of driving while intoxicated, a Class A misdemeanor.
- Luis Alberto Ramirez, 25, a resident of an apartment in the 100 block of Harris Drive, was arrested at 12:32 a.m. on June 8 at his residence and charged with the offense of assault causing bodily injury, a Class A misdemeanor.
- Marco Antonio Cruz, 22, a resident of the 800 block of West Fourth Street, was arrested at 7:50 a.m. on June 8, at 307 Long Drive, and charged with the offense of driving while intoxicated, a Class B misdemeanor.
- Blanca Armandina Velazquez, 27, a resident of the 300 block of West 11th Street, was arrested at 1:52 a.m. on June 9, at 500 E. Ninth St., and charged with the offense of driving while intoxicated, a Class A misdemeanor.
- Luis Manuel Munoz, 28, a resident of Big Spring, Texas, was arrested at 6:36 p.m. on June 10 at the Del Rio Port of Entry, 3140 Spur 239, after police were dispatched to the port in reference to a man being detained on an active non-local warrant.
- Nathan Wayne Medrano, 20, a resident of the 200 block of West Garza Street, was arrested at 8:36 p.m. on June 12, at 99 S. Bedell Ave., after police were called to a park in the area about a man wearing a mask and pointing a firearm at those making the report. The man was identified and stopped and found to have three active warrants with the Val Verde County Sheriff’s Office.
- Zane David James Supak, 20, a resident of Brackettville, was arrested at 2:40 a.m. on June 13, at 1602 Veterans Blvd., after police made a traffic stop on a vehicle with a defective headlight. The driver was identified and found to have an outstanding arrest warrant out of Colorado County, Texas.
- Kimberly Angelica Sauceda, 33, a resident of San Antonio, Texas, was arrested at 1:12 p.m. on June 15 at 1602 Veterans Blvd., and charged with the offense of criminal trespass, a Class C misdemeanor.
- Jose Francisco Renteria, 24, no residence address provided on report, was arrested about 8 a.m. on June 16 at 118 E. Adobe St., and charged with the offense of driving while intoxicated, a Class B misdemeanor.
- Oralia Kay Kimble, 44, a resident of the 500 block of Paisano Drive, was arrested about 11 p.m. on June 19 at 114 Fletcher Drive, on a warrant for human trafficking.
- Keith Andrew Castillo, 30, a resident of the 300 block of Marshall Smith Drive, was arrested at 4:25 a.m. on June 19, at 2400 Veterans Blvd., after police were called to conduct a welfare check. Castillo was subsequently found to have two non-local warrants and was taken into custody.
- Jeffrey Hayato Ward, 44, a resident of San Antonio, Texas, was arrested at 2:05 a.m. on June 21 at 2410 Bedell Ave., and charged with the offense of public intoxication, a Class C misdemeanor.
- Juan Lee Gonzales, 52, a resident of the 400 block of Diaz Street, was arrested about 10:30 a.m. on June 21 at his residence and charged with the offense of violation of bond/protective order, a Class A misdemeanor.
- Michael Ray Rodriguez, 23, a resident of the 900 block of East Bowie Street, was arrested at 10:56 p.m. on June 22 at 205 Arranaga Ave., on a non-local warrant.
- Chason Koece Williams Booker, 23, a resident of Houston, Texas, was arrested about 2 a.m. on June 23 at 114 E. Broadway St., and charged with the offenses of driving while intoxicated and with unlawfully carrying a weapon, both Class A misdemeanors.
- Jessie Sebring Gonzalez, 24, a resident of Midland, Texas, was arrested at 2:19 a.m. on June 23, at Bedell Avenue and East Gibbs Street, and charged with the offense of driving while intoxicated, a Class B misdemeanor.
- Jose Fidencio Reyes, 38, a resident of an apartment in the 3400 block of East U.S. Highway 90, was arrested at 2:51 a.m. on June 23, at his residence and charged with the offense of assault causing bodily injury, a Class A misdemeanor.
- Gilbert Salinas, 35, a resident of the 100 block of Calderon Lane, was arrested about 1 a.m. on June 24 at his residence and charged with the offense of assault causing bodily injury/family violence, a Class A misdemeanor, as well as on two outstanding warrants.
- Jaime Gerardo Salazar, 34, a resident of the 600 block of East Chapoy Street, was arrested about 1:30 a.m. on June 27 at 203 Veterans Blvd. and charged with the offense of driving while intoxicated, a Class B misdemeanor.
