SFDRCISD has released a plan for the redesign and reconfiguration of the middle school grades that will take effect in the 2025-2026 school year. The proposed plan calls for changing the current middle school system at San Felipe Memorial Middle School and Del Rio Middle School and implementing three (3) separate 6th-8th grade middle schools.
The proposed plan will be presented to our Board of Trustees during the September Regular Board Meeting. In preparation for that decision, the Administration is inviting parents wishing to express concerns or supports as well as ask any clarifying questions to a Town Hall Meeting. This meeting will be held at the Student Performance Center Auditorium (SPC) located at 315
Griner Street beginning at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday September 10, 2024.
If the plan is adopted, future Town Hall meetings will be held at various elementary and middle school campuses.
