A City of Del Rio front end loader turned over on its side about 9 a.m. Monday.
While police and ambulances were dispatched, damage to the

loader and driver were minimal.
Some people on scene said the driver’s back was a bit sore and there were scrapes on the loader, but everyone and everything was going to be okay.
At 9 a.m. Monday, there was a slight drizzle in the area, and when the driver turned left onto Lausen Road, the loader slipped into the ditch.
At 9:11 a.m., the Del Rio Police Department was called and by 9:50 a.m., the Rio Trailer Shop had the John Deere loader back on all four tires.
By 11 a.m., the loader was in the city’s garage getting a fluid change and a tune-up.
