Members of Esperanza First Baptist Church are pulling out all the stops to ensure a full house for Jeremy Rosado’s Oct. 12 concert.
“Our members want to make sure that the building is packed the night of the concert,” said Pastor Jim Wilson. “We think it’s important for the community of believers to come together for this unique worship experience.”
To spread the word, the congregation has posted more than 500

flyers around town, filled social media feeds with event promotions, and partnered with local Christian radio station KVFE, which has been airing daily announcements about the show.
Rosado is no stranger to national audiences. He first gained recognition in 2012 as a Top 13 finalist on American Idol’s 11th season.
Nearly a decade later, he returned to television on NBC’s The Voice in 2021, where he advanced to the semifinals on Team Kelly Clarkson. Clarkson praised his range, telling him, “Jeremy, we all know you can sing the hell out of a ballad, but my man, you are really great at uptempo! That was so powerful! Your voice was magical!” She later added, “Whatever your next move is, Jeremy, I have no doubt that gospel music, Christian music, is going to wrap their arms around that beautiful, God-given talent that you have.”
That prediction has proven true. Rosado is now signed with Capitol Christian Music Group, performing across the country on his Waiting Room Tour and promoting his latest album. His blend of heartfelt ballads and faith-centered anthems has made him a familiar name in contemporary Christian music.
“We are just really excited to have him here,” Wilson said. “We love to bring artists like Jeremy into our community.
