Question #1: What are your qualifications to serve in the office you are seeking?
Born and raised in Del Rio, I understand its people, its values and its needs. My qualifications include working closely with Justices of the Peace during the last 19 years. We worked side by side during Inquests, and I was able to have firsthand knowledge of the responsibilities, challenges and importance of this role. I am a woman of results, someone who turns commitment into action and action into progress. Organized, dedicated and driven by service, I am ready to give back to the place that shaped me. Question #2: What is your vision for this office for the next four years?
My vision is to move this office forward with greater customer service skills, effective Communication, but above all, respect for everyone that walks through our doors. I will lead by example and expect my staff to be equipped with all the skills and training necessary to fulfill their daily duties. Friendliness will embody our office. We are there to serve our community. Transparency is a must and we will have an open-door policy. Staff will have a safe, friendly environment and not have to worry about retaliation for speaking up. Everyone will be treated equally and share responsibilities. Cross training is important and helps with the day to dayoperations. I will serve with courage and inspire everyone to do better.
