ALPINE — A multi-agency investigation led by DPS CID Special Agents resulted in the arrest of a Del Rio man Tuesday evening in Alpine.
Cesar Resendez Jr., 36, was taken into custody without incident after being located in a vehicle on North 4th Street and East Hendryx Avenue.
The operation involved Brewster County deputies, the Alpine Police Department, Highway Patrol troopers, DPS Air Operations and Brewster County’s patrol dog, K-9 Milo.
Resendez was booked into the Brewster County Jail on a charge of online solicitation of a minor, a third-degree felony. A second charge, grooming of a child, also a third-degree felony, was added Wednesday.
