Press release from the Del Rio Police Department
On Sept. 18, 2026, at approximately 9:27 a.m., officers with the Del Rio Police Department responded to the 100 block of N. Frank Street regarding an unwanted female.
Upon arrival, officers met with the homeowner, who reported that he was inside his
residence when he heard the front door slam shut. The homeowner then discovered that a known female, identified as Angel Samantha Reynosa, 23, had entered the residence without permission.
According to the homeowner, Reynosa became involved in a verbal dispute with him and a second female who was inside the residence.
The homeowner removed Reynosa from the residence and secured the doors to prevent her from reentering. A few minutes later, Reynosa allegedly reentered the residence by crawling through a pet door while armed with a large pipe wrench.
After entering the residence, Reynosa allegedly threw the pipe wrench in the direction of the second female, striking her on the right side of her torso and causing pain and discomfort.
The homeowner was able to remove Reynosa from the residence a second time and contacted police for assistance.
After conducting an investigation and obtaining the necessary information, officers placed Reynosa under arrest and charged her with burglary of a habitation with intent to commit another felony.
Reynosa was transported to the Del Rio Police Department, where she was processed for the offense. She was later released into the custody of the GEO correctional facility pending the magistration process.
