NEWS — DRPD arrests man following 911 threat call

On October 4, 2026, at approximately 7:26 p.m., officers with the Del Rio Police Department responded to the 700 block of Spring Street regarding a concerning 911 call.

During the call, a male stated that he was intoxicated, had access to multiple weapons, and intended to harm others.

Due to the nature of the statements, responding officers staged outside the residence and began calling out to the individual. Officers then observed a male exit a vehicle located just a few feet from the residence. The male was instructed to raise his hands and was temporarily detained while officers investigated the circumstances surrounding the call.

Officers observed an adult female and children inside the residence. As a precaution, officers cleared the residence to ensure everyone’s safety. No additional threat or weapons-related danger was located inside the home.

During the investigation, officers observed multiple alcoholic beverages in and around the vehicle associated with the detained male.

When questioned, the male denied making the 911 call or the threatening statements. However, officers reviewed information from the male’s phone indicating that a call had been placed to 911. Additional information obtained through police 911 records also linked the incoming emergency call to the suspect’s phone.

The male was identified as Noah Fidencio Flores, 24.

Flores was arrested and charged with Terroristic Threat – Reaction of Emergency Agency.

Flores was transported to the Del Rio Police Department for processing and was later released to the custody of the GEO Correctional Facility pending magistration.
