Del Rio, TX – Regarding the article published in the Eagle Pass Leader News onĀ February 28, 2021 and distributed in the City of Del Rio within the last 24 hours, theĀ City of Del Rio maintains that this incident was brought to the attention of the Del RioĀ Chief of Police on February 12, 2021. The matter is under investigation by the Del RioĀ Police Department Internal Affairs Office and will be pursued to completion. The CityĀ Managerās Office is fully informed and will be kept abreast of all developments.Ā Questions upon completion of the ongoing investigation that pertain to the City ofĀ Del Rio will be addressed in due course by the appropriate authority.Ā
