A Del Rio comic is being featured on the national Six Feet Apart Comedy Special, a show put together for COVID times on Zoom, pitting comedians against each other.
“The show is a battle between the top states in comedy, Texas and California!” said Ruiz. “It’s basically a group of Texas comics versus a group of California comics.
Also on the show will be Ron Josol, Henry Garcia, Danielle Torres, Connor King II and Ruiz will be headlining against Luz Pazos.
“Reality is, the COVID times have been tough for comics and this is giving us a chance to work on our craft in a fun environment,” Ruiz said.
