Del Rio’s award-winning Ramada by Wyndham has announced a new offering tailored for guests seeking long-term accommodations without sacrificing the comforts of a hotel stay.
“We know there are people who come to Del Rio and need somewhere for more of an extended stay,” said Polo Del Rio, president of Del Rio Management Company. “We are hoping that this apartment type of living will meet their needs better and give them a little bit more space.”
The units are located directly behind the Ramada, located at 2101 Veterans Blvd.
The new apartment-style units are ideal for extended stays, featuring full kitchens, dishwashers, and dedicated dining areas. Each two-bedroom apartment includes a 65-inch TV in the living
room and a 58-inch TV in the master bedroom, providing a residential feel with premium entertainment options.
The 2-bedroom apartments have almost 1,300 square feet and the one-bedroom apartments have 700 square feet.
However, Del Rio said this is more than just extended-stay type apartments.
“What sets this offering apart is the full access to Ramada’s hotel amenities, including the pool, gym, landscaped picnic areas and on-site restaurant and bar. Guests can now enjoy residential living paired with the convenience and service of a hotel environment,” Del Rio said. “Basically, they’ll have access to everything at the Ramada.”
Del Rio said some of the new additions will be open to guests by June 16, with monthly rent starting around $1,500. Housekeeping services will be available for an additional fee.
