Two female-owned businesses held ribbon cuttings this past week, one opening its doors for the first time and the other expanding.

Ozuna is affiliated with eXp Realty Group, who serves as their broker. The company, eXp, calls themselves one of the fastest growing real estate firms in the world, with 60,000 agents in 14 countries.
“I’m trying to grow a team and I hope to get my broker’s license within this year,” Ozuna said. “I want a team where we can all be successful and we can help people find their perfect home.”
Ozuna said their broker, eXp, has a lot to offer. “Everything they do is designed to make us better agents and I’m excited for this new adventure.
The Body Factory
Gabi Mendez has been expanding her boutique gym for 7 years, as she started The Body Factory seven years ago and is now a 10,000-foot facility located at 95 Edwards Street.
Body Factory is a boutique fitness studio offering personal training, group fitness classes and nutritional guidance.
“Getting this here has been 7 years of hard work,” Mendez told the crowd that was attending her ribbon-cutting Saturday morning. Crowded around her were her parents and her daughter as she spoke to the crowd.
“I’m just the one with the crazy ideas and I’ve got an amazing support team that makes it happen,” Mendez said.
