I bring over 30 years of professional experience in public service, healthcare administration and financial leadership. As City Secretary and Local Registrar for the City of Del Rio, I ensure compliance with state law, manage official records, elections and vital statistics and uphold transparency and accountability. My background in executive administration, conflict resolution and community service reflects the fairness, integrity and professionalism I will bring to the office of Justice of the Peace.
Question #2: What is your vision for this office for the next four years:
My vision for the Justice of the Peace office over the next four years is to build upon the strong legacy established by the Justices who have served before me, while continuing to provide a court that is fair, efficient and accessible to all residents. As someone entering this role new, I am committed to ongoing training and continuing education to fully understand the law and carry out my duties responsibly. I will seek guidance, follow best practices and work closely with experienced court staff to ensure accurate procedures and timely case processing. I believe in treating every individual with dignity, respect and impartiality while upholding the law. Through transparency, accountability and a commitment to learning, my goal is to earn public trust and serve the community with integrity and professionalism.
