Question #1: What are your qualifications to serve in the office you are seeking?
I am a lifelong Del Rio resident, Marine Corps veteran and current Del Rio police lieutenant with over 30 years of public service. I have served in the patrol and investigations divisions, held leadership roles, working closely with local, state and federal agencies. My career requires fair judgement, knowledge of the law and respect for people from all backgrounds. These experiences have prepared me to serve our community with integrity as Justice of the Peace.
Question #2: What is your vision for this office for the next four years?
My vision is a Justice of the Peace court that is fair, efficient and respectful to every citizen. Over the next four years, I will ensure the court operates with professionalism, transparency and common sense. I will treat all people with dignity, apply the law equally and make decisions based on facts, not politics. I will work to improve communication and accessibility so residents better understand court procedures. I am committed to timely service, strong cooperation with law enforcement, and maintaining public trust. I will ensure the courtroom remains patient, organized and focused on practical solutions for families and small businesses. My goal is to deliver clear, fair justice the community can trust.
