The festivities began with the 2025 Stars and Stripes 4th of July Parade, which
started at 10 a.m., with nearly 50 entries.

The parade went down South Main Street and ended on Nicholson Street.

Pageant winners, city officials and local businesses participated in the annual parade.

During the afternoon, the annual Free Throw Contest and Three Point Shootout took place at
the Joe Ramos Center beginning at 2 p.m. Children from ages seven through 15 were allowed
to participate.

Vendors and food trucks were set up outside the Joe Ramos Center at the Dr.
Alfredo Gutierrez Amphitheater, which started at 4 p.m. The bands that performed Friday
evening included Midnight Rodeo, King Cabbage Brass Band and La Fiebre.
