Our featured artist for the month of November is Marsha Wilson, who presently resides here in Del Rio.

Wilson was born in Syracuse, NY in the mid-Sixties and in 2005 she along with her husband and three daughters moved to Del Rio.
She grew up in the country and spent much of her time outdoors falling in love the God’s Creation. During her high school years, she began studying the work of Ansel Adams and was compelled to try photographing landscapes. This gave her a way to combine her love of creation and desire to continue with her art.
Wilson enjoys an eclectic series of subjects and styles of photography. She has a passion to capture what her eye sees and loves the challenge of introducing active dancers or martial artists into the landscapes. Wilson has captured fireworks to waterfalls, cityscapes to country churches, unexpected formations in nature to intricate flowers. Recently she has been trying to capture the perfect landscape while her husband is driving down the highway.
Currently she has been combining her photography and her sewing, making custom wall hangings. She is also interested in re-creating landscapes using many photos of the landscape in the style of artist Pep Ventosa.
Lee-Bunch Studio Gallery will also be serving hors d’oeuvres and beverages during the art walk hours for you to enjoy while viewing Wilson’s exquisite photography. She will be available during the art walk to answer all of your photography questions.
Lee -Bunch Studio Gallery also provides custom matting and framing for your home or office décor. We exhibit on a daily basis the art of local and regional Texas renown artist so there is art for everyone. For more information concerning art walk or our visiting hours call Bunch at 830-774-3456.
