As of Tuesday afternoon, the campaign had raised $22,841.
Silva’s funeral services were held Monday at Trinity Mortuary.
On the GoFundMe page, Riemann, who had work from Nakoma’s Woodworking, which Silva and her husband Erasmo owned and operated an named for their daughter, on display at her recent wedding, wrote on the page, “Rayne was a great friend, selfless, full of life and she devoted her love to her children and husband.”
A brisket sandwich fundraiser for Silva has been announced for Friday at the Plaza del Sol Mall Parking lot beginning at 10:30 a.m. For a $10 donation, persons will receive a brisket sandwich, beans, rice and a soda.
Plates will be distributed until they are sold out. Bebo’s Brisket, based out of Del Rio, will be overseeing the preparation of the food.
