The 2026 Miss Val Verde Pageant will celebrate 46 years of pageant history on Saturday, April 11, at 6 p.m. in the Red Oak Ballroom at the Del Rio Civic Center, 1915 Veterans Blvd.
The Miss Val Verde Pageant has been an ongoing tradition since 1980, celebrating women in Val Verde County. Claudia Lopez, Miss Val Verde 2026 director, said this year’s pageant will feature a “Selena”-themed show paying tribute to the late Mexican-American singer Selena Quintanilla-Perez.
Rae Valencia, Miss Val Verde 2025; Kiana Villa, Miss Val Verde Teen 2025; and Rebecca Falcon, Jr. Miss Val Verde 2025, will pass on their titles to the next pageant winners Saturday evening.
Lopez said there are 16 delegates competing in this year’s pageant. The delegates include Aimee Alcántara, Antonella Rodriguez, Lemon Grace Albritton, Gabriela Rios, Wylei Barrera, Ziana Robles, Amilia Zambrano, Marie Nope, Raegan Castillo, Bella Dominguez, Amaya Mendoza, Giselle Chacon, Leilani Garcia, Karyme Valencia, Evelyn Dominguez and Aaliyah Alonso.
Doors open at 5:15 p.m., and the pageant begins at 6 p.m. Lopez said tickets are $25. Those interested in reserving tables can call 830-461-3126 for more information.
