Draculina and Havens Toys & Collectibles will have their grand opening this evening at 7:30 p.m. at 213 S. Main St.

Draculina and Havens Toys and Collectibles is a retro shop selling toys, games, comic books, and hand-made jewelry.

The store is owned by Krystal Torres and Paul Mancha, who first opened their stores at 910 S. Main St. inside El Mercadito. Torres said she and Mancha found a new available spot for more exposure.

“We were inside another boutique and we had our own rooms. We just wanted more exposure, and we got our own storefront,” Torres said.

Torres also said they are looking forward to this evening (Saturday), so people can see what they have been working on during the past several months.

The grand opening will be part of The Shops On Main Market, starting at 7 p.m. Food trucks and local businesses will be attending, and a mechanical bull will be set up.

Torres said they will be giving out back-to-school supplies and more giveaways will be handed out by HTeaO and Cardenas Funnel Cakes.

The grand-opening ceremony for Draculina and Havens Toys & Collectibles will start at 7:30 p.m.

There will be music provided by DJ Martinez from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., and live performances by Angel Baena starting at 9 p.m.

There will also be a Pokémon card game tournament, which Torres said they want to continue having in the future at their shop.

The store will be open Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
