Catholic Charities of Del Rio press release
Francisco Gonzalez, Martiza Gonzalez-Gillard, and Gabriela Gonzalez-Garza made a generous donation to the Catholic Charities of Del Rio recently.
The trio are entrepreneurs and philanthropists based out of Dallas seeking to keep the spirit of giving alive year-round.
The Friends of AyS Gala is where local businesses and leaders are recognized for their contributions and leadership in the Del Rio Community. The event is hosted by The Gonzalez siblings who are owners of Ahora y Siempre. In attendance at the event the event were Del Rio Mayor, Al Arreola Sr., local business leaders and members of The Catholic Charities of Del Rio. The Catholic Charities of Del Rio was highlighted as the recipient of a generous donation.
“..through this small contribution to this community, perhaps there is one less hungry mouth or one less child sleeping on a cold bed tonight,” said Gabriela Gonzalez-Garza.
“Corporations should not enter communities and only consume their resources. No. They should also give back and live among the community,” said Francisco Gonzalez
The Gonzalez siblings are the founders of Ahora y Siempre, Inc. Ahora y Siempre is an organization that provides services to persons diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Ahora y Siempre has offices in Dallas, Del Rio, Laredo and Austin.
