Del Rio’s Jack Mayfield will be in the Houston Astros lineup at shortstop at 2:10 p.m. today.
The Astros, 12-10, are facing off against the Colorado Rockies, 13-9.
According to ESPN, “Right-hander Antonio Senzatela (3-0, 3.91 ERA) will pitch for the Rockies on Tuesday in what will be his fifth start of the season and first-ever appearance against the Astros,” while Zack Grieneke (1-0, 2.53 ERA).
It will be Mayfield’s third appearance for the Astros’ this season. He has batted four times and has a .250 average. He opened the season on the Astros Opening Day roster and was later moved to the Alternate Site and was brought back to the Majors Sunday.
