Pretty Female Co. is a new women’s footwear store opening on Saturday, July 27, at 10:30 a.m. at Plaza De Sol Mall selling trendy-styled shoes.
Store owner Karina Martinez said the grand opening will have treats, drinks and goodie bags for the people who attend. She said the first 15 customers will receive a mystery bag when they purchase something.
Martinez said this is her first time opening a store, and she wants it to feel like a “safe haven” for women where they can feel confident and empowered. She also wanted to create an “Instagrammable” store with a fun atmosphere and shoes for people to take the best pictures with.
“I want people who walk in to feel welcomed and to have a good experience,” Martinez said.
Martinez currently resides in Dallas, Texas, and received a bachelor’s in business management from Southern New Hampshire University in 2023. Martinez also used her past work experiences in modeling and fashion for inspiration to create the store.
Martinez said one of her missions at the store is to raise awareness of mental health and to donate a portion of their profits to local and international mental health programs.
“I want to donate a part of our profits to those mental health programs that help people who don’t have the funds for insurance,” Martinez said.
The store will have positive quotes and sayings hanging on the walls to represent the atmosphere of the store.
Pretty Female Co. will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. from Mondays through Saturdays and 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays.
