Catholic Charities Del Rio is celebrating their first anniversary on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at 11:00 am at 106 Miers Dr. in Del Rio, Texas.
The celebration will include a short program, a tour of the facility, light refreshments, and food distribution to existing clients. The event will begin at 11 am on Saturday, May 27, 2023, located at 106 Miers Dr., Del Rio, Texas.
Catholic Charities Del Rio provides wraparound services to rural communities of the Archdiocese assisting neighbors in need with basic needs, family services, and self-sufficiency programs. Our programs serve all people in the community and they include parenting education, counseling, legal aid, senior services, a food pantry, a clothes closet, humanitarian aid, and case management.
In our first year, we served over 6,000 clients with food and clothing. Distributed 145,160 pounds of food to our community.
Catholic Charities President/CEO, J. Antonio Fernandez, says, “We opened this office as an extension of the programs and services offered in San Antonio. Our Del Rio office allows us to reach children, individuals, couples, and families at the furthest point in the Archdiocese to offer the love, respect, and dignity they deserve.”
