final resolution of any complaint, and that will remain one of our primary goals until we achieve the success, we are all hoping to see to make our community a more beautiful place to live and visit.

The City of Del Rio responded to the 600 Block of West Gutierrez, on February 22, 2023, where uninhabitable buildings were reported for being used for illegal activity. The property had been turned over to Val Verde County and the City contacted Val Verde County Judge, Lewis Owens, to obtain permission to raze the buildings in the area.

The Brilla Del Rio campaign was started to focus on, respond to, and enforce City Ordinances that have been put in place related to dilapidated buildings, overgrown lots, junked and abandoned vehicles.

The work was performed under the direction of Chief Building Official, Bob Kinsey and Public Works Director, Alberto Quintanilla by Public Works personnel.

We ask residents to join us and take part in this campaign to make Del Rio more beautiful, clean, and enhance curb appeal for years to come. To report a concern, please submit a Service Request online at tinyurl.com/codrrequest , or scan the QR code provided.
