City of Del Rio press release
On 06/08/2025 at approximately 5:38 a.m. the Del Rio Police Department responded to the 1100 block of West 10th Street, the Del Rio International Airport for suspicious circumstances.
Upon arrival police located a single vehicle collision against the
airport fence. Police made contact with the driver identified as Hanna Elizabeth Rodriguez; 22 yrs. of age. Rodriguez displayed clues of intoxication. The officer conducted Standardized Field Sobriety Testing and determined Rodriguez was intoxicated.
Rodriguez was arrested for the offense of Driving While Intoxicated, a breath sample was obtained resulting in a blood alcohol content greater than 0.15 enhancing the original charge to Driving While Intoxicated BAC >= 0.15.
Rodriguez was transported to the police station for booking and processing, she was later released to the custody of GEO Correctional Facility.
