Representatives of the US Border Patrol Del Rio Sector will host a State of the Border Address Thursday at the Del Rio Civic Center.
The event is open to the public.
According to a release from the US Border Patrol, the meeting will begin at 10 a.m., but doors will open at 9 a.m. The event will be held in the Pecan Ballroom at the Del Rio Civic Center and will feature US Border Patrol Deputy Chief Raul L. Ortiz and Del Rio Sector Chief Patrol Agent Austin L. Skero.
Following the public briefing, a question and answer session with credentialed media will take place.
