Fans can now get tickets for Del Rio Comic Con (DRCC) 2025, as the convention returns on the
first weekend of May at the Del Rio Civic Center, 1915 Veterans Blvd.
Pre-sale tickets went on sale on Monday and prices range from
$10 for Saturday, May 3 or
Sunday, May 4, to $20.00 for a 2-day pass.
Pre-sale ticket buyers will also receive a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle card signed by Johnny
Huang, an artist, director and actor from Bell County, Texas. The first 20 pre-sale ticket buyers
will get the Ninja Turtle card, and pre-sale ticket buyers will be the first people to enter the
convention.
DRCC has been an ongoing pop culture event continuing for more than 10 years, and it has
seen an increase in attendees every year. The convention is being put together by Paul
Mancha, executive director; Haven Mancha, second director and Krystal Torres, Jessica Hernandez
and Mario Alfaro.
DRCC’s Facebook page refers to the convention as the “BIGGEST population culture event in
Del Rio, Texas,” and will feature game tournaments, cosplay contests and food vendors.
2025’s DRCC will have several guests, including WWE Hall of Famer, Rikishi Fatu, Teenage
Mutant Ninja Turtles and their iconic turtle van, and Star Wars Stormtroopers from the 501st
Legion (imperial rough ruder squad), a worldwide Star Wars costuming organization.
Paul spoke with The 830 Times to share details about the new additions to
the convention, including live panels and a Youth Artist Alley, which will showcase various young
local artists.
Paul said he is really excited about this year’s convention and to see how it has shaped and
evolved from previous years. He mentions how the convention is “here to stay, and it has
become a dominant force.”
“A convention is a unity of many coming together to form a cool horizon. You don’t know how
much the convention will lift you up and make you different,” Paul said.
Tickets are available at the Del Rio Comic Con official site here, and people can also buy tickets at
Haven’s Toys & Collectibles, 213 South Main Street.
