Two Del Rio residents were killed in a single-vehicle tractor-trailer crash in Tuscaloosa County, Ala., according to several Alabama news reports.
Authorities identified the victims as Jerry C. Ketterer, 71, and Marci A. Ketterer, 68, who were traveling in a 2019 Kenworth when it left Interstate 59 and struck a tree near Fosters.
A Kenworth is a brand of heavy-duty semi-truck, commonly used for long-haul freight and commercial transportation.
Several Alabama news outlets reported both were pronounced dead at the scene, and the crash remains under investigation.
