News release from an Felipe Del Rio Consolidated Independent School District
Due to ongoing winter weather conditions and concerns for the safety of students and staff, the San Felipe Del Rio Consolidated Independent School District will not hold classes on Monday, Jan. 26, 2026.
All district campuses and offices will be closed, and all extracurricular activities and events scheduled for Monday are canceled.
The SFDR-CISD Board of Trustees meeting originally scheduled for Monday, Jan. 26, has been postponed to Tuesday, Jan. 27, at 6 p.m.
District officials said they will continue to monitor weather and road conditions and will provide additional updates as needed through official district communication channels.
SFDR-CISD thanked families, staff and the community for their understanding and cooperation, emphasizing that the safety of students and staff remains the district’s top priority.
