City of Del Rio Police Department press release
On November 20th, 2023 at 11:05 a.m. Del Rio Police Department responded to the 100 block of Jodobo Dr. for an assault that had just occurred; actor was no longer on scene.
Upon arrival police met with complainant who reported a household member identified as William Clyde Adams caused bodily injury after a verbal argument became physical. The responding officer documented the incident and remained in the vicinity in case the actor would return.
At approximately 11:59 a.m. the Del Rio Police Department Communications Division received a 911 call from the same residence.
Police responded and noticed damage to the front door of the residence. Police heard an ongoing disturbance inside the residence and entry was made. Contact was made with Adams who did not comply with police commands. Adams was subsequently subdued and taken into custody.
William Clyde Adams; 36 years of age was arrested and charged with the offense of Assault Causes Bodily Injury / Family Violence and Resisting Arrest Search or Transportation
