City of Del Rio Police Department press release
On March 22nd, 2025, at approximately 9:56 a.m. the Del Rio Police Department responded to the 200 block of East 4th Street for a Missing Person.
Upon arrival police met with the guardian of an underaged female who wish to report the female left the residence without
her permission and had not returned. A police report was generated, and it was submitted to the Criminal Investigation Division for further investigation.
On March 24th, 2025, detectives conducted a follow-up investigation at the 500 block of Ave D where the underage female was located, sleeping inside the residence.
Contact was made with the female who did not report any criminal activity to police. The female was recovered by police and safely returned to the guardian.
Detectives identified the owner of the residence as Jose Armando Dominguez Jr. 27 yrs. of age. Dominguez had three active arrest warrants out of Bexar County for the offenses of Possession of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1/1-B, Fraud Use / Possession Identifying Information and Theft of Property >=$100<$750.
Dominguez was arrested for the outstanding arrest warrants and was transported to the police station where he was processed and interviewed.
She was found to be at his residence, she was returned to her guardian and he was arrested for Sexual Assault of a Child in addition to other charges.
Dominguez was arrested for Sexual Assault of a Child and was released to GEO Correctional Facility.
