City of Del Rio Police Department Press Release
On August 23, 2022 a Del Rio Police Department officer began an investigation for the offenses of Robbery and Kidnapping. The investigation was assigned to the Criminal Investigation Division for further investigation. During the investigation, three male suspects were identified as participants to the crime.
Arrest warrants were obtained for all three individuals for the offense of Aggravated Kidnapping and Aggravated Robbery. Two of the three suspects have been arrested and charged for said offenses. At this time one subject remains at large.
The Del Rio Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the third suspect. The suspect is identified as Jose Herrera Rodarte, 26 years of age.

Please be advised Rodarte has displayed violent tendencies, and he is considered armed and dangerous. If encountered, do not approach the individual and contact police immediately.
