Del Rio police and firefighters responded to an accident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian about 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 19.
Some four blocks of Veterans Boulevard south of Seventh Street were closed to traffic after police officers and firefighters were dispatched to the scene.
The 830 Times reached out to the city’s communications and marketing staff for more information on the collision.
Peter Ojeda, the city’s communications and marketing director, said the only information available about the collision was that it had involved a vehicle and a pedestrian.
Ojeda said he would forward additional details about the incident as soon as he was given any updates.
