NEWS — Rogelio “Roger” Hernandez seeks office of County Sheriff

Hernandez will first seek the Republican Party nomination for the office. He will run unopposed in the March 5 Republican Party Primary Election.

Writer’s Note: Mr. Hernandez did not respond to repeated requests for an in-person interview and thus The 830 Times was not able to ask him questions about his educational and work backgrounds. Also, he did not answer the same three questions we asked every other candidate. Instead, he provided The 830 Times with the following statement, which we have published verbatim as follows:

“Rogelio ‘Roger’ Hernandez is a native of Del Rio, TX. Born and raised in Val Verde County, he dedicated more than 30 years of his life to public service.
