San Felipe Del Rio CISD would like to inform our students, parents, and staff that the weather forecast for the coming mornings
predicts colder-than-usual temperatures but dry conditions. Based on these projections, we will have a delayed start to the school
day. Students and employees are able to report 2 hours after their normal reporting time.
Elementary (PreK – 5th) Start Times
Students: 9:50 AM
All Staff: 9:30 AM
Essential Personnel: Normal Hours
Middle schools (6th – 8th) Start Times
Students: 10:15 AMAll Staff: 9:30 AM
Essential Personnel: Normal Hours
High schools (9th – 12th) Start Times
Students: 10:10 AM start time
All Staff: 9:30 AM
Essential Personnel: Normal Hours
Working parents should be assured that essential personnel (Administrators & Security Personnel) will be on duty, Tuesday and Wednesday, by 7:30 AM to receive students if necessary.
We encourage everyone to dress warmly and allow extra time for their morning commute.
The safety of our students and staff remains our top priority. We will continue to monitor weather conditions closely and provide
updates if there are any changes.
