City of Del Rio Police Department press release
On June 26, 2025, at approximately 10:03 p.m., a Del Rio Police Department officer made contact with a male subject identified as Efren Perez Rodriguez. Rodriguez arrived at the police station to inquire if charges had been filed against him.
The officer asked Rodriguez to explain, and Rodriguez stated he was the owner of a local tattoo studio.
He admitted that while tattooing a female client, he intentionally placed his hand on her private area and that the female rejected his advance.
Shortly after, a detective notified the officer that a female victim was at the station filing a report against Rodriguez for a sexual offense. The victim reported the contact was non-consensual and unwanted.
Efren Perez Rodriguez, 39, was placed under arrest for the offense of Indecent Assault. He was processed at the police station and later transferred to the custody of GEO Correctional Facility.
