Armando Cardenas Lomas entered into eternal rest peacefully on December 19, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas.
He was born in Del Rio, Texas, on November 30, 1963 to George and Rosario Cardenas Lomas. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother Rosario C. Lomas and son Armando Lomas II.
Mr. Lomas worked for U.P.S. in Del Rio forever. He was recognized for his safe driving by U.P.S. several times.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, daughter Krystal L. Trujillo, his sons George Lomas and Isaac Lomas and the mother of his children, Elsa Omega Lomas.
Also, his father George L. Lomas, brother Ramiro C. Lomas, sister Elsa L. Mathis of Killeen, Texas; as well as his grandsons, granddaughters and extended family of nephews and nieces.
A chapel service was held Tuesday, December 28, 2021, by Father Naveen of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church at Sunset Funeral Home. John 14:1-4.
Interment was held Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at San Felipe Cemetery.
Pallbearers were his grandson Marine Lance Cpl. Raul Trujillo, son Isaac Lomas, and nephews Ramiro Lomas, Daniel Garcia, Fernando Tamez, Hazael Tamez and Ricky Tovar.
Honorary pallbearers were Roland Aguirre and Victor Meza.
