Even in the midst of a pandemic, the San Felipe Lions Club of Del Rio continues to uphold the Lions motto of ‘We Serve’.
Club members came together to cook more than 180 burgers and assemble them into sack lunches for the front line medical professionals and volunteers who helped distribute COVID-19 vaccines at the Del Rio Civic Center March 6, 2021
“A big thank you to Wes Vasquez of Natures Own bread company for donating the buns and an even bigger thank you to the health care professionals and volunteers who work tirelessly to take care of our citizens,” said Josh Overfelt, Lions Marketing Manager.
