District officials are monitoring weather conditions and forecasts for the area. Due to the forecasted
winter weather threat for Saturday thru Monday morning, San Felipe Del Rio CISD has canceled all
competition and extracurricular activities for Saturday; and will implement a delayed start for students
on Monday, January 26, 2026. We are making the announcement now to allow time for appropriate
planning.
Student Start Time
1. Elementary classes will begin at 9:45 a.m. with bus routes beginning at 9:00 a.m.
2. Secondary classes (6th ā 12th grade) will begin at 10:30 a.m., with bus routes beginning at
9:30 a.m.
Staff Reporting Times
1. Security Personnel: Report at 7:00 a.m.
2. Essential Staff (Cafeteria staff, Custodians and Maintenance): Report at 8:30 a.m.
3. All Campus Staff: Report 45 minutes prior to start of classes
4. Non-Campus Administrative and Support Staff: Report at 10:00 a.m.
District officials will continue to monitor weather conditions and provide updates if necessary. Thank
