District administrators are closely monitoring a new weather advisory which calls for a chance of wintry mix tomorrow, Thursday, February 3, 2022. We receive regular weather updates from the National Weather Service and the Texas Department of Transportation (TDoT). Currently, the NWS has issued a Winter Weather Advisory. While current information indicates the possibility of inclement weather, SFDRCISD will continue to monitor any developments and alerts from these agencies. A final decision regarding any school delays or closures will take place at 5:30 a.m. Thursday morning.
Employees and parents are asked to take precautionary measures which includes dressing appropriately for the weather and preparing for the possibility of a delayed school start time. All updates will be posted on our school district website and social media pages. Parents and employees will also receive messages via Skyward and/or Class Dojo.
