Del Rio’s non-district schedule often finds the Queens basketball team playing a lot of teams from the surrounding area.
While all the results don’t turn out in the Queens’ favor, the lessons learned from each game will aid the team as they progress during the season. The team can see pieces of defensive and offensive sets and recognize them later on and be better prepared to tackle those obstacles and overcome them.
Following the Harlandale tournament, the Queens traveled to Crystal City and dropped a tough contest, 52-47.
