The Trump Train is coming down Veterans’ Blvd in Del Rio Saturday afternoon, Sept. 26 about 1:45 p.m..
The train is an organic movement of Republican supporters who are driving through nine Southwest Texas towns.
It began in Uvalde at 9:30 a.m., targeted La Pryor at 10 a.m., Crystal City at 10:20 a.m., Carrizo Springs at 10:35 a.m., Eagle Pass at 12:45 p.m., Quemado at 1:05 p.m., Del Rio at 1:45 p.m., Brackettville at 2:15 p.m., back to Uvalde at 3 p.m. and Con Can at 3:30 p.m.
They will come off of the Loop near Cripple Creek and come down Veterans, turn left at HEB and head for Brackettville and Uvalde.
Fred Knoll, Del Rio Chief of Police said they have officers on stand by to ensure the procession is able to smoothly move through town with minimal impact to traffic.
Fernando Garcia, former Val Verde County Party Republican chair said they’ve given out nearly 1,000 Trump signs in Val Verde County over the last two weeks and no one is real sure the size of the parade.
