Summer 2025 comes to an end as Noches Musicales will have its final live performance at
historic Brown Plaza on Friday at 8:40 p.m.

Bands, dance groups and vendors came together at Brown Plaza every Friday starting June 6
for 10 weeks of summer celebration. For the final night, performances will be provided by guitar
students and the ballet folklorico dance group from the Casa De La Cultura and Combo
Cosmico (a Latin American band from San Antonio).

Lupita De La Paz, Casa De La Cultura executive director, spoke with The 830 Times about how
summer 2025 went for the annual music fest. She said, “It was a really good summer,” with
pleasant weather and good conditions for both musicians and audience members. Every Friday,
chairs were set up all around the plaza, and once the live music kicked in, you would find
crowds of people dancing.

De La Paz expressed how all the bands and musicians who performed did really well. For next
year, De La Paz wants to get more funding sources to help create a better production and
venue for bands to perform at.

De La Paz thanked everyone who made Noches Musicales successful this year. From the
vendors and the electrical team that were involved to all the families and friends that attended
any of the live performances, Noches Musicales made summer 2025 a season to remember.
