DEL RIO, Texas — High school football may be king in Texas, but in an informal poll on 830Times Facebook recently, it was the NFL people wouldn’t give up.
August 11, 830Times asked the following: If you could only have
1 High School Football
2 College Football
3 NFL
Readers were asked to vote and 14 did.
Seven people voted NFL, 4 voted for high school and college only received 3.
With the NFL in training camp prepping for a season, it looks like people will get their wish, at least for awhile.
More than likely, Del Rio will get an abbreviated schedule for their Rams. Two Power 5 and many smaller conferences have canceled their seasons in the college ranks.
