Val Verde County residents who meet certain criteria are being asked to register for the COVID-19 vaccine.
Residents who meet Phase 1A or Phase 1B criteria may register by using a form available on the county and city websites.
The county’s website is www.valverdecounty.org, and the city’s website is www.cityofdelrio.com.
Phase 1A includes anyone who works in an area related to healthcare and/or management of COVID-19 patients.
Phase 1B includes anyone who is 65 years of age or older or anyone who is over 18 years of age and has a medical condition that would cause the virus to pose a greater risk to his or her health.
Persons who complete the form will be placed on a waiting list and will be notified by phone, email or text once the vaccine becomes available.
